So I woke up fairly easily this morning. I’d like to attribute that to my healthy Day 1 yesterday. Or maybe it was all 887457 of my husbands alarms going off every 5 seconds. Either way, today has begun on a positive note. While I am sore, it’s reassuring me that this is really happening and that I can do this. A friend of mine has been cheering me on and has said that the first week is hell, but to keep pushing through, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I can’t stop thinking about all the clothes I can wear, I won’t have to sweat to death in my baggy, ill-fitting clothes anymore. I want to wear dresses without 5 layers underneath to keep everything from falling out of the dress and leggings to hide my snausage legs. A dear friend of mine from high school always reminds me what killer legs I used to have, and I am determined to have those legs again.
I also brought a better lunch to work today. A lean cuisine, small salad with grilled chicken and olive oil & vinegar dressing, an apple, greek yogurt, and 2 cucumber roll-ups.
- 1 small whole wheat tortilla
- 2 tbs whipped cream cheese
- 4 slices of cucumber, julienned.
- Smear, place, roll, and eat.
- 150 calories per roll-up.
Fuck you, fat!! I WILL be smoking hot again.
